“ Consistently good neighborhood Chinese restaurant with a fairly standard menu of American-Chinese fusion cuisines. Moderately priced and lots of food! Not a lot of drink options. The ribs are great and they serve fries and other American fare. ”
“ Excellent selection of authentic homemade soups; the quart sizes are a great value, and the Hot&Sour Soup is delicious. I always order off the Chef's Specialties menu. The Seafood Delight and Happy Family are always fresh, and a lot of food for a good price. Not on the Chef's menu, though just as exceptional, are the Singapore Mei Fun (curry rice noodles) and all the Fried Rices. I suggest calling in your order for pick up to avoid waiting at the counter. Service is always fast; usually less than a 15 minute wait. They're always courteous and efficient. A lot of locals don't know how to order, then complain about their deep fried chicken wings, and fries being cold lol. Empire II has been in business at 116&5 for over 15 years and I'm sure will be around for a long, long time. Yum! ”
